Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta is a quick and creamy 20-minute dinner featuring tender shrimp, spaghetti, and a sweet and spicy chili sauce thatโs perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- Red pepper flakes, to taste
- FOR THE SAUCE:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet Thai chili sauce, lime juice, and sriracha. Set aside.
2. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
3. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
5. Add minced garlic during the last 30 seconds of cooking and stir until fragrant.
6. Turn off the heat and add the cooked pasta and prepared sauce to the skillet. Toss until evenly coated.
7. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
Adjust the sriracha and red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
