Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute).
4. Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Let the sauce thicken slightly.
5. Stir in the shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and additional grated Parmesan before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version. Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra veggies. Leftovers reheat well and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
