Description

A comforting and hearty casserole combining tender chicken and savory dressing, perfect for family dinners. Chicken & Dressing Casserole is easy to make and full of cozy flavors that will remind you of holiday meals any time of year.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 package (6 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, chicken broth, melted butter, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, mix stuffing mix with chopped celery and onion.

4. Add the stuffing mixture to the chicken mixture and stir until combined.

5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.

6. Pour the milk evenly over the top of the casserole.

7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.


Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra nutrition.
