Description

Indulge in these rich, fudgy brownies topped with silky chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownies are the perfect decadent dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

BROWNIE BASE:

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

GANACHE TOPPING:

  • 1 cup chocolate chips, high-quality
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, brought to a simmer

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.

3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.

5. Fold in half of the sliced strawberries gently.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow brownies to cool completely.

7. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until smooth and glossy.

8. Spread ganache evenly over the cooled brownies, letting it drip slightly over the edges.

9. Top with remaining sliced strawberries and allow the ganache to set before slicing into 12 pieces.

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days.

Refrigerate for up to 1 week for extended freshness.

Freeze for longer storage and thaw at room temperature before serving.

For clean slices, chill the brownies briefly before cutting.
