Description

Irresistibly creamy garlic parmesan chicken thighs seared to golden perfection and finished in a rich, savory cream sauce for an easy yet indulgent dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper on both sides and let rest for a few minutes.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for about 5 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy.

3. Flip the chicken thighs and cook for another 5 minutes until nicely browned.

4. Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently as it begins to simmer and thicken.

6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until fully melted and smooth.

7. Stir in the Italian seasoning to evenly distribute flavor.

8. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, coating them well in the sauce, and simmer for about 10 minutes until fully cooked and tender.

9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with extra sauce spooned over the top.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, avoid moving the chicken while searing.

This dish pairs beautifully with pasta, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
