Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 packets of chicken gravy mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
5. If you prefer a thicker gravy, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry. Add it to the crock pot in the last 30 minutes of cooking and stir well.
6. Shred the chicken before serving, if desired, and serve hot with the gravy.
