Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or canned, drained
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Pour sauce mixture over chicken, coating well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  • Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to crockpot to mix with sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Use fresh pineapple for a brighter, more vibrant taste.
  • Pair with rice, roasted vegetables, or salad for a complete meal.
