A simple and delicious Crockpot Pineapple BBQ Chicken recipe featuring tender chicken breasts slow-cooked in a sweet and tangy pineapple BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or canned, drained
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in crockpot and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour sauce mixture over chicken, coating well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to crockpot to mix with sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
