Description

A fresh and flavorful bow tie pasta salad loaded with crisp vegetables, mozzarella, and Italian dressing—perfect for gatherings or everyday meals.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bow tie pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced (any color)
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 cup mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook bow tie pasta according to package instructions (about 10–12 minutes) until al dente.

2. Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Let it cool.

3. Chop cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, and olives. Halve mozzarella balls if needed.

4. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, vegetables, mozzarella, and parsley. Toss gently.

5. Pour Italian dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

Rinsing pasta helps cool it quickly and prevents sticking.

Use homemade Italian dressing for extra flavor if preferred.

This salad can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
