Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- Taco shells
- Toppings (e.g., lettuce, cheese, salsa)
Instructions
1. Season the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional chili powder. Toss to coat.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
3. In a small pan, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Stir in the honey and mix to combine, forming a sauce.
5. Pour the garlic butter honey sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
6. Slice the chicken into strips.
