Description
Crispy, golden healthy air fryer churro bites with a light cinnamon sugar coating, perfect for a guilt-free sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 large egg
Coating:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
- In a pan, combine water, butter, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, add flour gradually, stirring until dough comes together.
- Let dough cool slightly, then mix in egg and vanilla.
- Pipe bite-sized pieces into preheated air fryer basket (375°F).
- Cook 10–12 minutes until golden.
- Toss warm churros in cinnamon sugar and serve.
Notes
- Serve warm for best taste.
- Can be stored in airtight container for 2 days.
- Reheat in air fryer for 3–4 minutes.
