Description

This healthy oatmeal bites recipe is a quick, no-bake snack filled with nourishing ingredients like oats, nut butter, and flaxseed. Perfect for kids, post-workout fuel, or a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut or almond butter
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix oats, flaxseed, chia, and salt.
  • Add nut butter, sweetener, and vanilla. Stir well to combine.
  • If too dry, add a splash of warm water.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls using your hands.
  • Place on parchment paper and chill for 20–30 minutes.
  • Store in fridge up to 7 days or freeze up to 2 months.

Notes

  • You can swap nut butter for seed butter for a nut-free version.
  • Add-ins like protein powder, dried fruit, or cacao nibs are easy variations.
  • Great for lunchboxes, snack prep, or a clean energy bite before workouts.
