This pumpkin seed bariatric tea recipe is mineral-rich, gentle on the stomach, and perfect for post-op recovery or natural weight support.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1 small slice fresh ginger (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Lemon balm leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse pumpkin seeds under cold water.
- Add seeds and water to a small pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain the seeds and pour tea into a cup.
- Serve warm or store in fridge up to 36 hours.
Notes
- Use only raw, unsalted pumpkin seeds.
- Crush seeds lightly before boiling for stronger mineral extraction.
- Avoid reheating in the microwave to preserve nutrients.
