Description

These fun and festive Shamrock Shake Pudding Cups are layered with chocolate and mint puddings, topped with whipped cream and garnished for a perfect St. Patrick’s Day treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant mint pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings or mint candies (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the chocolate pudding by whisking the mix with 2 cups of milk in a medium bowl until smooth and thickened.

2. In a separate bowl, prepare the mint pudding by whisking the mix with 2 cups of milk until thickened. Add green food coloring for a more vibrant green layer if desired.

3. Optional: For added texture, stir crushed cookies or brownie crumbs into the chocolate pudding.

4. Using a piping bag or spoon, layer chocolate pudding into clear dessert cups.

5. Add a layer of mint pudding over the chocolate, smoothing the top.

6. Chill the pudding cups in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.

7. Just before serving, top with whipped cream or whipped topping.

8. Garnish with chocolate shavings or mint candies.

9. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Add extra green food coloring to make the mint layer pop. For perfect layers, use a piping bag and let each layer chill briefly before adding the next. These cups can be made a day ahead—just add whipped cream and garnish right before serving.
