Description

Indulge in the delightful Strawberry Pretzel Jello Salad, a refreshing no-bake dessert that harmonizes salty and sweet flavors. This classic treat features a crunchy pretzel crust, a creamy cream cheese layer, and vibrant strawberries set in luscious strawberry jello. Perfect for picnics, potlucks, or family gatherings, this dish is quick to assemble and can be made ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ¼ cup sugar (for crust)
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup sugar (for filling)
  • 8 oz whipped topping (thawed)
  • 6 oz strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb strawberries (sliced)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. Dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water and let it cool.

3. Combine melted butter with crushed pretzels and sugar; press into a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.

4. Mix softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled crust.

5. Add sliced strawberries to cooled jello and pour over the cream cheese layer.

6. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set.

Notes

Make sure the crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer to prevent melting.

Use fresh or frozen strawberries, but thaw and drain frozen berries before adding.

Great make-ahead dessert for gatherings—can be made up to a day in advance.
