This easy and delicious TikTok ramen recipe is a little bit sweet, a little bit salty, and packed with umami flavor—ready in minutes for a viral-worthy meal.
Ingredients
- 1 package instant ramen (preferably Nong Shim, Samyang, or any Korean brand – without the seasoning pack)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon Everything Bagel Seasoning, or to taste
- 1 scallion, sliced (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain most of the water, leaving 1-2 tablespoons in with the noodles to prevent drying out.
2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and stir until the garlic is soft – about 1 minute. Add the brown sugar and soy sauce. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
3. Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat. Push the noodles to the side to give space for the egg.
4. Add the slightly beaten egg and scramble until cooked to your desired doneness. Mix egg and noodles to combine.
5. Serve in a bowl with Everything Bagel sprinkled on top. Enjoy!
Notes
Customize your spice level by adjusting the red pepper flakes.
Add a protein boost with leftover chicken, tofu, or shrimp.
Top with toasted sesame seeds or nori for extra umami.
Use any brand of instant ramen, but discard the seasoning pack for this recipe.
