Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Pat chicken dry and season with paprika
Heat oil in a skillet, sauté garlic and ginger for 1-2 minutes
Add chicken and cook 2-3 minutes per side
Mix apple cider, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and chicken broth in a bowl
Pour sauce over chicken, transfer to baking dish
Bake 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C)
Notes
Use apple cider vinegar for extra tang
Maple syrup substitutes well for honey
Sauce thickens further upon cooling
