Description

A vibrant, refreshing fruit salad topped with a luscious honey yogurt dressing and toasted pecans. This light, nutrient-packed breakfast is customizable with seasonal fruits and offers a perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess, and crunch.

Ingredients

2 cups mixed seasonal fruit (apples, oranges, grapes, pineapple, kiwi)
1 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Wash and chop all fruits into bite-sized pieces
Combine Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla, and almond extract in a bowl to make the dressing
Toss fruits with the dressing until evenly coated
Top with chopped pecans and a drizzle of lemon juice if desired
Serve chilled

Notes

Customize fruits based on seasonality and personal preference
Dress the salad just before serving to prevent fruits from browning
Store dressing separately in the fridge for up to 2 days
Replace pecans with walnuts or sunflower seeds for a different texture
