Description

A sweet and spicy roasted vegetable side featuring Brussels sprouts glazed with a tangy sauce of honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, and garlic. Perfectly balanced for tender, crispy sprouts with a glossy finish and satisfying complexity.

Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1/4 cup pure honey
2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon freshly minced garlic
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onions

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Halve Brussels sprouts and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer
Whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, and garlic in a small bowl
During last 10-15 minutes of roasting, brush sauce over sprouts until glazed and caramelized
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving

Notes

Use light/neutral olive oil for best saucé balance
Adjust Sriracha amount based on heat preference
Maximum crispiness achieved with dry parchment paper
Leftovers store in airtight container for 3-4 days
