Description

A vibrant salad combining tender spinach, sweet strawberries, creamy feta, and crunchy candied pecans. Drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette, this dish balances fresh, sweet, and savory flavors for a light, nourishing meal.

Ingredients

6 cups fresh baby spinach
1.5 cups ripe strawberries, halved
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup candied pecans
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Wash and dry spinach; set aside.
Halve strawberries and gently toss with spinach.
Combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make vinaigrette.
Crumble feta into a separate bowl.
Top spinach mixture with feta, strawberries, and candied pecans.
Before serving, drizzle vinaigrette over the salad and gently toss to combine.

Notes

Substitute baby kale for added texture.
Use crumbled goat cheese as a non-halal-friendly alternative to feta.
Chill ingredients separately until ready to serve for optimal freshness.
